Local Effort, Global Effect is an organization of local citizens dedicated to creating a culture of community service and volunteerism.
Local Effort, Global Effect serves as a resource to the community by informing citizens of local volunteer opportunities. We also work with local organizations to ensure that, as a community, we are recognizing the needs of our area and doing our best to fill them.
If we join our voices to effect change from the bottom, we can demand more change from the top.
As Margaret Meade famously said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
